Shipping Policy
Inland will make every attempt to ship all items within two business days of
receiving the order. In the event that an order will not ship within two
business days, we will send you an e-mail to inform you of the expected shipping
date.
If only a partial shipment is possible (due to stock outs or "make to order" products), we will bill you only for the items shipped. A backorder will be created and maintained in house, until such time that the remainder of your order can be filled. The first shipment will include the complete shipping charge for all products, and the backorders will ship without any additional shipping charges. This method will enable you to receive the lowest possible shipping costs. When common sense dictates, we will hold an order until it can be shipped complete - for example, we would not ship you replacement band saw blades if we were backordering the saw for which they are needed. Again, you would be alerted by e-mail if this scenario were to arise.
Shipments will always be made by the least expensive method of either US Mail, or UPS, at our discretion. In the case where a customer requests a more expensive method (such as UPS Next Day Air), we will contact you with your shipping charges for approval before shipping the order. Please note that this may delay your order a day if we are waiting on your response or approval.
Shipping Charges
All orders shipping to the 48 contiguous United States will be billed as follows:
Product Total up to $50, Shipping = $6.50
Product Total up to $100, Shipping = $8.25
Product Total up to $175, Shipping = $10.50
Product Total up to $300, Shipping = $12.75
Product Total over $300, Shipping = FREE!
Shipping to Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska will be billed at actual shipping cost, plus $5.00 for handling. For shipping charges to other countries, we will quote you a price before shipping the product. In some cases, customs and duty charges will apply.
Michigan Sales Tax
All orders shipping to a Michigan address will be billed for (currently 6%) Michigan Sales Tax. To know your exact order total, you should check the "I am a Michigan Resident" box during order check out. However, if you do not check the box, but request a Michigan shipping address, we will add the appropriate sales tax to your order.
Shipping Damage
We strive to ship all products in such a manner as to arrive to you in good shape. However, from time to time, it is possible that shipping damage may occur. If the parcel looks damaged upon arrival, please note this to the delivery driver, when appropriate. If there is hidden damage or no driver present, please call us immediately, at:
